Mediation & Law Offices of Vivian L. Holley

Choice. Experience. Results.

More Resolution Options. Better Outcome.

Option 1: Parties Negotiate Themselves

The most direct way to resolve any dispute is to talk to the other side. Often an honest discussion where each person listens to the other can resolve the problems. In a separation or divorce situation, a marriage counselor or therapist can provide a safe forum for these discussions. If there is going to be a divorce which involves custody of the children or division of valuable property, it is best to consult with an attorney to understand the legal requirements for your situation, as well as the tax ramifications. Also since there are so many court forms and financial disclosures required for a divorce, a consulting attorney can also assist with the paper work which must be properly prepared to be accepted by the court.

Ms. Holley’s office provides all of these services and she can be available to give advice whenever you need guidance in your negotiations. Her consultation services are available for clients who wish to represent themselves even when the other side already has an attorney.

"My experience of the Vivian Holley Law Firm has been nothing short of excellent. I first contacted her for a consultation in 2001. I called her eight years later, and to my amazement she not only remembered me but had retained the original notes. I have had the opportunity to work with other attorneys over the years and have a strong basis for comparison- there just isn't one. Clear, direct no nonsense consul delivered thoughtfully and with empathy. The service I received extended beyond just document preparation, but included contacts with other professionals whose service contributed to the superior service."
